As the Out of Eden Walk journey moves into the Mediterranean Sea, the Tweets and Instagram images selected for this Milestone leap forth into another continent, where the 2014 World Cup has commenced in Brazil. Tweets in Arabic, Hebrew, English, French, and other languages reflect the truly global reach of these games. The time of the Milestone also marked the beginning of Ramadan, the Muslim holy month of fasting, and netizens greeted each other with “Ramadan Kareem”, meaning “Generous Ramadan”).
